The C. Bechstein Centre Manchester, opened in 2022, quickly became a destination for pianists of all levels. Nestled just behind the former Debenhams building near Piccadilly Gardens, the expansive 10,000-square-foot showroom showcased everything from beginner-friendly uprights to the elite C. Bechstein Concert Series grand pianos. The space also offered state-of-the-art, soundproof practice studios, making it not just a store, but a musical sanctuary.
 

“Whilst it is bittersweet to say goodbye to our cherished shop here in Manchester,” the company stated, “the transition marks an exciting new chapter for Bechstein UK.”
